If you’ve ever craved a grilled cheese or a continental sandwich in Lucknow, you’re probably familiar with Mr Sandwich. The sandwhich café chain, with existing outlets in Alambagh, Indira Nagar, Hazratganj, lulu mall, and more, is reportedly joining the much-awaited Food Valley on Asha Jyoti Lane (formerly Chatori Gali) in Gomti Nagar.

Food Valley is Lucknow Development Authority’s pink‑of‑health food precinct: 42 curated F&B brands, kid zones, mist cooling, event spaces, and regulated infrastructure. A continental sandwich café will offer a light, refreshing break among the heavier local flavours.
The mayor sees it as part of LDA’s vision to diversify the city’s cuisine offerings—a balance between traditional chaats, sweets, and global-fast-casual.
